Voodoo fries and the school cake are particular highlights, alongside waffles, pancakes and excellent coffee in a cosy, spotless setting. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 or 11am.

A family-run café on the Market Place with an excellent upstairs seating area, loose-leaf teas and what regulars call the best cheese scone in Leek. Genuinely accommodating for dietary requirements and praised for the warmth of the owners. Open daily except Sunday from 9:30am, Saturday from 9am.
