A beautiful free park on the edge of Cheadle, centred on the historic Bruntwood Hall. The parkland offers pleasant walking and cycling trails, a café in the grounds and children's play facilities. Dog-friendly throughout and open year-round. A lovely place for a post-market walk on a sunny day.

A magnificent National Trust estate on the edge of the Peak District, around twenty minutes from Heaton Mersey. The grand Italianate mansion, formal gardens and moorland deer park make for one of Cheshire's great days out. The parkland is free to roam, with the house open at weekends. A spectacular black-and-white timber-framed manor house in Bramhall, just ten minutes from Heaton Mersey. The medieval hall dates to the 14th century and the surrounding parkland makes for an excellent post-market walk. The house is open at weekends and admission is charged.
